Today is a bittersweet day at Crystal Galleries as we say "bon voyage" to one of our most valued team members, Jess Parnell.
After five years of being a core part of our Customer Service team, Jess is leaving us to follow her true passion: working on boats. While we are sad to see her go, we couldn't be prouder to see her turning her love for the water into a full-time career—especially given the incredible work she already does as a volunteer boat crew member for the RNLI.
Five Years of Excellence
Jess joined us half a decade ago and has since become a master of the Crystal Galleries "engine room." From managing complex quotes to ensuring our customers receive the best possible service, Jess has been a reliable, steady hand. When our Sales Manager, Isla, was out of the office, Jess stepped up to run the sales desk with ease and efficiency.
When we asked Jess what she loved most about her time here, her answer was simple:
"The CS and Accounts teams are such a close-knit group. We share a very particular sense of humour that makes even the busiest days a lot of fun"
Beyond the Sales Desk
While we know her as a customer service expert, Jess has a life full of adventure outside of the office. If she isn’t out on a shout with the RNLI, you can usually find her:
In the Great Outdoors: Enjoying long hill walks with her dogs.
Exploring the Globe: Jess loves to travel and experience new cultures.
Being a "Foodie": Whether it’s Pizza, Thai, Korean, or Japanese, Jess is a fan of it all!
Fun Fact: Jess is also a bit of a daredevil. She has actually swum with around ten different species of sharks. We’ve always known she was brave, but that certainly confirms it.
Thank You, Jess
Jess, thank you for five years of hard work, laughter and dedication. You’ve been a "shark" in the best possible way—tenacious, fast and always moving forward.
We wish you nothing but fair winds and following seas in your new maritime career. We know the RNLI and your future crew are lucky to have you.
Good luck, Jess!
From all your friends at Crystal Galleries.
