Swinging for Success: Crystal Galleries Shines at Teesside Charity Golf Day

This May, Crystal Galleries is proud to be part of an exhilarating display of skill and sportsmanship at the sold-out Teesside ‘V’ the Rest of the World Charity Golf Day. Hosted at the lush Rockliffe Hall’s world-class golf course, this inaugural event, organised by Teesside Charity in partnership with Teesside Airport Foundation, promises not just competitive spirit but also a heartfelt endeavour to raise funds for local charities.

The excitement kicks off on Tuesday, 7th May, at 11:00 am with a dynamic shotgun start. Inspired by the prestigious Ryder Cup format, the competition will feature singles match play, with players matched according to their handicaps (maximum of 24 for men and 36 for women). The enthusiasm for this event was clear as team spots quickly sold out, reflecting the strong community support and anticipation for a day of top-level golf.

As proud corporate partners and suppliers of the event’s trophies, Crystal Galleries is excited to celebrate the achievements of the day’s winners. We will be presenting awards for the winning team, as well as individual accolades for 'closest to the pin' and 'longest drive'.

Guided by Team Captains Bill Scott, CEO of Wilton Engineering for Teesside, and Phil Forster, MD of Teesside Airport for the Rest of the World, players are gearing up to showcase their skills. Their leadership is set to inspire both teams to strive for victory in this friendly yet fierce competition. While player registration has closed due to high demand, local businesses still have the opportunity to contribute through hole sponsorships, providing valuable support for the community and gaining visibility among attendees.

Even though team spots are filled, there are still several ways to get involved. Businesses interested in hole sponsorships or individuals wishing to support the charitable goals of the event can contact Mandy at mandy.s@teessidecharity.org.uk for more information.
