At Crystal Galleries, we believe in giving back to our community and supporting causes that make a positive impact. Last month, we were proud to host a Macmillan Coffee Morning, raising funds for a fantastic charity that does incredible work for those facing cancer. This event was a great success and thanks to the contributions of our wonderful team and a match from Crystal Galleries, we raised £129 to support the amazing work Macmillan does every day.
Our Fundraising Progress So Far
Thanks to the generosity of our team, we've raised an incredible £408.58 so far this year for various charitable causes. This includes our Macmillan Coffee Morning and we’re excited to keep the momentum going as we move into Movember.
Macmillan Coffee Morning Recap
On the 27th of September, we invited our staff to take part in a special Macmillan Coffee Morning. From delicious bakes to snacks of all kinds, it was a wonderful opportunity for the team to come together for a great cause. With a mix of traditional cakes, savoury treats and even some creative baking efforts.
We were delighted to raise £64 during the morning, which Crystal Galleries then match-funded, making our total donation £129. We’re incredibly proud of our team for coming together and contributing to such an important cause—helping Macmillan Cancer Support continue their invaluable work.
As October comes to a close, we’re gearing up for Movember. Throughout November, we’ll be raising awareness and funds for men’s health, including issues such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health. Our team members are getting ready to grow their moustaches and show their support for this fantastic cause.
We’ll be sharing regular updates throughout the month on our progress—so stay tuned to our social channels for some entertaining moustache transformations.
Movember is all about making a difference for men’s health, and we’re thrilled to be playing our part in this global movement. Whether it’s by growing a ‘stache, taking part in our fundraising activities, or simply spreading the word, every small action helps make a big impact.
