One of the most important areas of focus is how we handle boxes and wrapping, ensuring that we minimise waste and maximise sustainability. In this post, we’ll share how our partnerships with J&B Recycling and Enva help us stay on track with our eco-conscious goals, and provide some updates on our recycling progress.
Glass and Acrylic Recycling with J&B Recycling
Recycling glass and acrylic waste is a critical step in reducing our overall environmental footprint. This year alone, we’ve successfully recycled 1.3 tonnes of materials through our partnership with J&B Recycling. This effort not only diverts waste from landfills but also supports a circular economy, where materials can be reused or repurposed.
By working closely with J&B, we ensure that all recyclable glass and acrylic are responsibly processed, helping us maintain our eco-friendly packaging and production practices.
Pallet Recycling with Enva
Pallets—whether wood or plastic—are essential for the logistics of running a business. However, they also present a potential source of waste if not managed sustainably. That’s why we’ve partnered with Enva to recycle and repurpose used pallets. In 2024 alone, we’ve recycled 320kg of pallet material, reducing waste and contributing to a more sustainable supply chain.
Our efforts to manage waste responsibly not only help reduce our carbon footprint but also reflect our dedication to supporting sustainable business practices across all operations.
Eco-Friendly Packaging: Recycled Boxes and Precise Inner Packing
We’ve also made significant strides in optimising our packaging. All of our outer boxes are made from recycled materials, providing robust and protective packaging without the environmental cost of virgin materials.
Moreover, we’ve invested in a new inner packing machine, which generates precisely cut packing sheets. This minimises the amount of filler material required, drastically reducing excess waste and ensuring we only use what’s needed to protect each product.
Our Ongoing Commitment
These numbers—1.3 tonnes of recycled glass and acrylic and 320kg of recycled pallets—represent just the beginning of our sustainability journey. Our goal is to continually reduce our environmental impact while providing high-quality products and services.
