Following our announcement that Crystal Galleries has renewed our partnership with The Teesside Charity for 2026, we are eager to help spread the word about how you can get involved.
The Teesside Charity does incredible work supporting individuals and families across the Tees Valley and their event calendar for the year is packed with opportunities to have fun, challenge yourself and give back.
What’s Coming Up in 2026?
Whether you’re a fitness fanatic, a networking pro, or just love a good quiz, there is something for everyone:
Quiz Night (Feb 5th): Grab your smartest friends and head to the Teesside University Students' Union for a night of trivia and community spirit.
Middlesbrough Half Marathon (March 1st): Lace up your trainers and join hundreds of others running for a cause through the heart of Boro.
The Big Skydive (March 29th): For the true thrill-seekers! Take the leap at Sky-High Skydiving and raise vital funds for local projects.
Padel Tournament (April 23rd): Join the fastest-growing sport in the UK at Opus Park for some friendly competition.
Swaledale Waterfall Challenge Walk (May 10th): A beautiful way to see the region while supporting your neighbors.
Ladies’ Lunch (May 14th): A fantastic networking and social event held at the stunning Whinstone View.
Annual Ball (Oct 2nd): The big one. A glamorous evening at Hardwick Hall Hotel to celebrate the charity's achievements.
How You Can Get Involved
There are three main ways you can support the charity’s mission this year:

Host Your Own: Do you have a unique fundraising idea? The charity loves to see community-led initiatives, from bake sales to office swear jars. Reach out to them directly to get started.
Become a Patron: If you are a local business like us, consider joining the Infant Hercules Charity Club or becoming a Centurion to provide long-term support to the Tees Valley.
Why It Matters
Every penny raised through these events stays right here in Teesside. It helps local food banks, supports grassroots sports clubs and provides essential equipment for those in need.
